South Bank has been a sacred skate plaza for many generations of skaters. The current generation experienced some turmoil when London attempted to take it away for high rents. With the help of local and worldwide support, the Long Live South Bank organization helped to save this piece of history with petitions and grants.
It is one of the last of its kind in the world, a sacred gathering place for skaters from around the corner as well as around the world to come and learn or showcase their talents. Commemorate the movement with this piece, and always remember if you put your mind to it, anything is possible.
