Edited by Alex Corporan, Ivory Serra, and Andre Razo, with a foreword by Tony Hawk.
Coming 28 October 2021
‘captures the sensation of flight and movement within heavy, confining spaces, and the sweeping colors of the boards, the graffiti, and the riders as they fly between the gray sky and grayer pavement’ —The New Yorker
Skateboarding in New York City is a singular experience. It is impossible not to feel the magnitude of the landscape, and with the city in constant motion, skateboarding is both exhilarating and extremely dangerous. There is no right or wrong way to navigate this vast terrain. Only one thing is certain – the skaters and images produced in New York City are wholly unique.
The shots in Full Bleed span 30 years, with contributions from over 40 photographers. This tenth anniversary edition is a comprehensive overview of one of the most diverse and rich skating locations in the world, bringing together legendary skaters and iconic photographers.
The word on the street in the past year since COVID hit is that New York is dead and it will never be the same. We beg to differ– on June 21st Go Skateboarding Day, we saw something that’s always been embedded in the Big Apple.
Skateboarding has always been a part of NYC’S DNA but this year was special. It was that dap we all needed to reignite a feeling we all Love and miss.
We celebrated the 10-year anniversary of Adult Go Skateboarding Day, which was started in 2011 by Michael Cohen and Alex Corporan. It was a way for a small group of New York friends to bring Don Brown’s vision that he started in 2004 back to its essence, and organize the skateboarding community and local restaurants to help out and sponsor the day.
It’s our way of taking back the streets and skating from spot to spot without permits, hitting up our favorite skate spots and local businesses to support, parking and nourishing all attendees. As it’s evolved over the years, they’ve incorporated art and music shows into the evening so that everyone can enjoy their accomplishments of skateboarding all over the NY streets all day.
Legendary spot in Queens. Rodney made the spot a regular place to go and in turn made it world famous. Appearing in all the 'golden era classics, cult classics, and now in social media posts, skaters from all over the world come to skate and pay homage.
Collaborating with his brand Torro Skateboards, we bring this amazing piece of jewelry. The grate, the ledge over the grate, the inside ledge, the outside ledge, the step up, the up ledge, the high ledge, the grate and pipe, all the details of this amazing spot are here. The globe spins for extra flare.

Boxing and martial arts have a lot of similarities with skateboarding. They are individual 'sports' that require 'hours a day' X 'years of training and practicing' more or less alone. Not getting hurt is one of the main goals, yet it is almost impossible not to experience pain and learn how to cope with it while performing. The learning, conditioning, and healing process may not be glamorous but the results of hard work will show... It's never really for the glamour, it is about becoming a better you, for yourself, and no one else.
Boxing dreams are symbols of strength, aggression, rivalry, rage, discipline, timing, and potential.
One of the main areas to focus in these dreams is the emotions that you go through.
These dreams are strong indicators that perhaps you are either going up or down on your potential.
Hard work makes champions not natural talent. Training and practice, repetition, muscle memory, stamina, learn to lose to know how to win.
Hard Work Pays Off! The More You Work, The More You Get!

Racism is the belief that any race is inherently better or worse mentally or physically than another race.
We are not advocating violence. It's an artistic expression that we want to end the ideologies and violence that the KKK represents. Skateboarding has no color lines, age requirements, gender specifications, or economic boundaries. We come together with a common love and respect for what each individual has overcome to pursue happiness and enlightenment.

The skate community came together to ride and rally for Black Lives Matter. We as skaters are almost by nature outcasts, so we ban together.
Dave has been on the El Señor team since day 1, we are grateful to have been a part of your career. No stranger to the stage Dave's musical talents and skateboard talents have brought him around the world a few times. His humble ambition is admirable.
We brought out his signature 'Traffic light' pendant a few years ago, thank you everyone that got themselves one.
His new pro board is available now from Shut Skateboards.

One Love, and Peace.
So by now, we have been quarantined for some many months and the cops are killing us, and maybe we have started back doing some normal activities, mainly skating outside again...
To lighten things up a bit... here is our competition we did.
So the rules pretty basic... the entries will be judged by superstar judging panel.
Judges- Billy Rohan, Chris 'Dune' Pastras, Alex Corporan, and Stephanie Tonnoir. I love doing contests and seeing the talent, excitement, enjoyment, and just bringing the community together. Enjoy the action, it all about having fun.
Thank you to our hosts, sponsors, and of the skaters! Thank you Taji and Vice for including us with the amazing sponsor list of Hit Balm medicinals, Stereo Skateboards, Grillo Pickles, Schaller Weber smoked meats, Trophy Griptape, and Samurai Skateshop.
